The team is based in Ampthill and staff work on a flexible shift basis, over 7 days. The team is looking for a social worker who is currently an Approved Mental Health Professional and who also has experience of working with vulnerable children and adults. A good working knowledge of all relevant legislation is required The shifts are busy and the work is challenging and varied. Evening and weekend shifts are staffed by either two or three team members. The overnight shifts are staffed by only one person, so it is important that applicants are capable of working alone, although there is always management consultation and support available.
