Comments and contributions are always more than welcome, as indeed are corrections.
The old ‘ESSA voices’ forum has been discontinued but if sufficient interest is shown I will
initiate a Facebook page - in the meantime everything will be published here, either directly
on the page or via downloadable pdf files.
Job vacancies can, of course, be advertised - see ‘vacancies’ link. Free for ESSA members.
Non-members: £150.
Information on upcoming Conferences will be published under the ‘conferences’ link, as
well as notes, reports and photos of conferences past.

Hello ESSA,
Well we are into February, and we haven't been completely enveloped by the New Ice Age, although
I suspected our Scottish colleagues may beg to differ?
The world move apace around us with several of our larger authorities hurtling towards a 24/7 existence.
This will probably mean changes for all those involved, it will be interesting to see how the various methods
evolve and how this effects working Out of Hours..
At the last Exec meting I was aware that the membership is shrinking, albeit slowly, and have been wondering
how we might stop this slow skid before it becomes any form of slide. Members who wish to make
suggestions please use the web comments options that we have available - if you need to be set up with
an-mail Steve will manage this with his usual deftness of touch.
Well that is my small consideration for Feb, it should almost be Spring by the time I regale you again.
Enjoy the Winter's end (I Hope)
Damon
